blurkers, come out, come out, where ever you are…

…and tell me what you love about the Prophet Muhammad (saws).

  1. The character of the Prophet Muhammad sallalahu alaihi wa salam – that his character alone drew people to Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala, and the ability of his character to transform even the most diseased of hearts.

    like this

  2. There’s so much that can be said about his character, isn’t there? Every time I read something about him, I find another aspect of it that increases my love for him.

Thanks for the video. inshaAllah I’ll watch it tonight and will probably post it sometime this month :)

  3. Same here, whenever I read something or when I hear someone speak who is able to elucidate meanings from events that I many not fully appreciate otherwise.

One of my favorite videos about the Prophet’s (saws) character is also by Habib Ali – the Prophetic Mirror. No matter how often I watch it (and it is quite often), it makes me cry, as well as serves as a great reminder/motivator for working on my own behavior.

  4. bismillah.
Assalaamu ‘alaikum, blessed to just come across your blog alhamdulillah.

I agree with the above posters that to just try and start on that topic..subhanAllah we would start now and not be able to finish until yawm al qiyamah, but i will say one thing just so that we all dont keep saying theres too much to say and so we dont say anything lol.

    1. That he was the BEST husband and the BEST father that this world ever knew, sallAllahu ‘alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam. He was playful with his wives. He would race with ‘Aisha rAa. He would eat the leftover pieces of meat after her on a bone. He placed his blessed lips right where she placed hers on the cup on purpose. Whenever Fatima rAa walked into the room he would stand up and kiss her between the eyes. etc etc etc

    jazakillah khair for this post!
