Yes, we are those kind of people. The kind of people who are like, oo look a weekend seminar on the Qu’ran. And it’s in DC. Hmm, will have to take off a week or 2 and make sure we see the Smithsonian and tour the white house (while wearing distinctive muslim garb and identifying first and foremost as muslim political/history geeks). Alas, it does not overlap with the Rally to Restore Sanity, so I will not be going to that :(
