So remember Me; I will remember you. And be thankful to Me and do not deny Me.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Thanksgiving. But do not fall into the trap of being thankful but once or twice a year. Shukr is something we should strive for in every waking minute.
Abu Hurayra (ra) reported that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, “I prefer saying, SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah. La illaha ilAllahu. Allahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah and praise belongs to Allah. There is no god but Allah. Allah is greater) to everything the sun rises on.“
What an awesome sunnah to strive to implement! Increase your shukr and dhikr starting right now!
