Seeing as how the world is going to end for some tomorrow, I thought it would be a good time to review the muslim view of the end of the world and the day of judgment. Always good to remind ourselves of the inevitable, even if we have no idea when it will be.
Day of Judgment:
- What will we be asked on the Day of Judgment?
- ibn Kathir’s Signs of the Day of Judgment
- The Beast & the Smoke
- Prophetic Intercession
- Ayat that mention the Day
One thing that I think is good to remember is that we’re not guaranteed another day, another hour, or even another minute here in this life. Our time has been set and it will end one day. It could end when the world ends. However, it’s far more likely that it will end with death. So it really doesn’t matter when the world ends. We should live each day as if it were our last, and strive to please our Lord to the best of our abilities.
